Microsoft once again warns users who still use default Adobe Flash Player 6 that comes preloaded with Windows XP.According to the advisory, the Adobe Flash Player 6 provided with Windows XP could allow remote code execution and let attackers to enter into the system, if a user views a specially crafted Web page [details here].
It is very important that all XP users should upgrade their default flash player to current one (10.0.42.34), because it is one of the most commonly exploited Windows applications. Adobe has addressed these vulnerabilities in newer versions.
This issue affects Windows XP SP2/ SP3 and Windows XP Pro x64 SP2 Edition. Download latest flash player at Adobe.
